The Law Office of George N. Piandes, P.C. handles a wide variety of immigration law matters including family-based and employment-based immigration, naturalization and asylum.  Specifically we assist in the following matters:

U.S. Permanent Residence (Green Card) Under Section 245(i)

  • Helping people who started the process of legalization back in 2001 but for whatever reason did not complete the process.  Assistance with refilling for Permanent Residence even after withdrawal, revocation or denial.
  • Helping the family members of people that started the legalization process back in 2001 as “Grandfathered” individuals under this law. Even if the principal family member has left the United States, divorced or is deceased – you may still be protected under this law!

Family Based U.S. Permanent Residence as:

  • Marriage to a U.S. Citizen;
  • Marriage to a U.S. Permanent Resident;
  • Mother or Father of a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident;
  • Minor Child of a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident;
  • Adult Son or Daughter of a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident;
  • Brother or Sister of U.S. Citizen; as the Husband or Wife of a U.S. Citizen;
  • Removal of Conditions on U.S. Permanent Residence when still married to the U.S. Citizen spouse and after divorce or separation;
  • Obtaining U.S. Permanent Residence through VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) petitions. 

Employment Based U.S. Permanent Residence:

  • PERM Labor Certification;
  • EB-1 International Executive or Manager;
  • EB-1 Persons of Extraordinary Ability in the Arts, Science, or Business;
  • EB-1 Outstanding Researcher;
  • EB-2 & EB-3 categories.

U.S. Citizenship & Naturalization:

  • Derivative Citizenship;
  • U.S. Naturalization;
  • Citizenship for Military and Veterans.

Assisting with Difficult Immigration Matters:

  • Waivers Family Based Permanent Residence AND Waivers for Nonimmigrant Workers or Visitors;
  • Assistance with refilling after am immigration denial;
  • Assistance with reopening denied cases;
